State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Garden City) will host the second annual Georgia International Trade & Commerce Summit 2019. Mayor Don Bethune, Mayor Eddie Deloach, Mayor Jason Buelterman, Mayor Mike Lamb, Mayor Cornell Harvey, Global Logistics, the summit co-chairs, elected officials, state lawmakers, consul generals and members of the Garden City council will hold a press conference during the summit.
The annual event is designed to enhance international relations in the trade and logistics industries in Georgia and will include individuals involved in the global economy.

- Thursday, July 11, 2019, from 9:00 am – 8:30 pm
- Friday, July 12, 2019, from 9:00 am – 11:30 am

Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers are needed for the following positions for the specific responsibilities mentioned below. Anyone can volunteer for this opportunity as long as they are above the age of 18.
- Greeters: Greeting guests and representatives at each event including the breakout sessions and press conference (both days)
- PR Team: Taking photographs and publishing updates on social media. Conducting live-streams on social media to publicize the event.
- Hospitality Team: Helping representatives and guests at dining events for ushering and other tasks.
Attire: Business professional (no exceptions).
