IVolunteer International is a 501(c)3 tech-nonprofit registered in Savannah, Georgia with the vision of “creating 7 billion volunteers.” Since 2017, IVolunteer International has connected volunteers to volunteer projects in their local communities around the world, empowering individual people to create and connect to social impact projects in their communities.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, seniors over the age of 60 were deemed to be in at-risk populations. These demographics are being advised to stay indoors. Because of this, from inspiration gathered by Shopping Angels, IVolunteer International launched an online platform that connects volunteers to seniors who need grocery delivery support in Georgia. This platform is called “Grocery Aid.”

“We believe that individual people have the power to create change. That is why we launched an online platform to connect people to help each other. This way we can serve more people faster and more efficiently” said Nipuna Ambanpola, Executive Director of IVolunteer International.
IVolunteer International will monitor matches and develop this pilot phase further to help nonprofits working with senior citizens in the State of Georgia.
