GLENNVILLE, GA – The Rotary Club of Glennville brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services encouraging high ethical standards in the Glennville community. Operating as a chartered club of Rotary International, the impact of the club goes beyond the city of Glennville, expanding all over the Rotary District 6920 and worldwide.
On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, a team from IVolunteer International traveled to the beautiful city of Glennville to speak at the Rotary Club of Glennville. The team consisted of our Executive Director Nipuna Ambanpola, CFO Tyler D’Alto, and Marketing Coordinator Kynder Ann Ganoe. Mr. Ambanpola was invited to present and speak about IVolunteer International’s 2018 campaign and the new platform we are building to establish a new age of volunteering.
A fine Rotary welcome greeted our team and was accompanied to a delicious lunch at Rotary. As the President of the club called the meeting to order, Mr. Ambanpola delivered his remarks about the current challenges volunteers face around the world and how our new platform will strategically bring sustainable solutions to those challenges, creating the act of volunteering easy, more accessible, fun, and even completely free to the worldwide community.
The Rotary Club of Glennville has a history of being a big supporter of projects that directly impact their community and the world. It is also a 100% Paul Harris Fellow club as well. Enhancing this description, the Rotary Club of Glennville hosted an auction and collected a significant amount of donations which were handed over to Mr. Ambanpola in support of IVolunteer International’s new fundraising campaign.
“It is always a known fact that Rotarians around the world are ready to invest in projects and programs that impact the world and today’s commitment is proof of that. I appreciate the support of Glennville Rotary to our fundraiser today”, expressed Mr. Ambanpola in his thanks to the club.
