Volunteer Duties + Expectations
TFG Charitable Supply and Foundation supports other nonprofits/organizations by giving them donated items, monetary donations and volunteers to other nonprofits/organizations. However, before donations can be given to other nonprofits, they must be sorted and packed into boxes for safe storage in the warehouse. This is where volunteers come in.
TFG is seeking volunteers willing to work in a warehouse setting separating out clothes, household goods, linens, and other goods. Volunteers will also help count items and pack them into boxes. Volunteers must be able to attend a training session and be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. The warehouse will be open Mondays-Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Scheduling is flexible, though we do ask that you will be available to work for at least 2 hours on the days you are able to come in. Masks and closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times in the warehouse. Gloves and other PPE will be provided. Previous volunteer/work experience is not necessary.
